I am an Interventional Cardiologist working as Consultant in P.D.Hinduja National Hospital in Mahim, Mumbai, India. I have been involved in Cardiology training and practice since 1998.

I completed my undergraduate training from Seth G.S Medical College and Sir K.E.M hospital, Mumbai. I was awarded the first rank in the University of Mumbai final MD (internal Medicine examination. My training in cardiology was accomplished at Grant Medical College, where I secured DM in cardiology and also qualified as Diplomate of National Board.

Subsequent to my basic training, I joined as staff at prestigious Madras Medical Mission Hospital (Chennai) and later completed the Interventional Cardiology fellowship program at The Townsville general hospital and James Cook University, Queensland, Australia .

Though I specialize in coronary angiography and Coronary Angioplasty, I have maintained a special interest in Cardiac Imaging and Heart Failure. I am actively involved in 2D echo, Stress Echo and Trans-esophageal echocardiography.

I have actively pursued basic research in passrapid medicine and cardiology (stem cell response and immune response in vaccinated immunocompromised patients etc). My research papers and articles have been published in index International and national journals viz. American thoracic surgery, Pediatric Cardiology and Indian Heart Journal.
