Yoga - and its benefits
 
     
  Yoga can be of great help in maintaining perfect health. It can revive the body. When completely exhausted, It brings calm to both mind and nervous system.  
     
 
  Paschimottasana
Paschimottanasana is a good remedy for posterior back muscles are stretched to their fullest extent and the abdominal muscles are strengthened, thus preventing the formation of fat around the stomach. This asana has a particularly salutary effect on the spinal column. Blood rushes to the gonads, prostate gland, uterus and bladder, to improve their state of health.
     
  Ardha-matsyendrasana
Ardha-matsyendrasana transmits to the spinal column two sideways twists; one to the left and other to the right. It is, therefore, a very useful Asana. It has great curative value and corrects spinal deformities; it has a beneficial effect on the gall-bladder, spleen kidneys and bowels.
     
  Pranayama
Padmasana : This posture develops physical and mental stability.
Siddhasana : This posture develops calms the nerves, curves stiffness in the knees and joints and prevents rheumatism.
Svastika : Identical to those of the lotus position
Samasana : The same as in the lotus position.
Sukhasana : Identical to those gained in other meditation postures.
     
  Uddiyana- Bandha
A sluggish colon may be set moving properly, constipation prevented, likewise dyspepsia and liver trouble. This exercise is also an excellent remedy against prolapses of the stomach uterus or intestines. It cures most gastric complaints and removes toxins from the digestive tract.
     
  Siddhasana
This posture develops calms the nerves, curves stiffness in the knees and joints and prevents rheumatism.
     
  Trikonasana
This Asana tones up the muscles in the back, the hips and legs, and ensures that the hip bones are properly in place. It soothes the neck and back aches, and makes the legs more flexible.
